The most representative wine of the Piedmont region. Its beginnings can be traced back to the 1700’s. Robust, with a rich personality, well structured, it is produced from quality grapes from carefully selected vineyards which are exposed to the best of the Italian sunlight. Made by traditional wine making methods it is finished in small oak casks which bring out its full body and rich balanced flavours with hints, reminiscent of the woodland undergrowth.
It is best served with meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
Temperature 18 Degrees.
